Belt conveyor rollers are divided into drive rollers and idler rollers

(1) Drive rollers The common structural styles of drive roller coverings are: V-shaped rollers, diamond-shaped rollers, and flat rollers (surface without texture).

(2) Idler rollers
The function of the idler roller is to change the winding direction of the belt, making the belt form a closed loop. The idler roller can be used as the tail roller of the conveyor, forming a tightening roller in the tightening device and causing the belt to change direction at different angles. Small idler rollers are made of cast iron, while generally larger idler rollers are made of steel plates.
