Article 2 Article No one is allowed to ride on the belt conveyor in the mining area, and it is not allowed to use the belt conveyor to transport equipment and heavy materials.

Article 3 Article The belt conveyor roadway should have fire extinguishing and spray dust suppression facilities, and should be kept in good working order.

Article 4 Article The motor and switch of the belt conveyor 20 meters within the airflow, the methane concentration reaches 1.5% time, it must be stopped

operation, cut off the power, and carry out the processing.

II. Preparation, Inspection and Handling

Article 5 Article Preparation:

1 Tools: Wrenches, pliers, hand saws, shovels, etc.;

2 Spare parts and materials: Bolts, belt clips, etc.;

3 Lubricating grease, etc.

Article 6 Article Inspection and handling:

1 The supports of the head, tail, and the entire belt conveyor are intact and firm, without floating coal or debris. Otherwise, the work may only be carried out after the foreman and support workers have handled the safety issues;

2 Turn the control switch handle of the belt conveyor to the power-off position, lock it, hang up the power-off sign, and then check the following parts:

( 1 )All connecting pieces and fasteners at the head and storage belt device should be complete and firm, with complete protective covers, and the rollers and bearings should rotate flexibly;

( 2 )The working medium liquid level of the hydraulic coupling is appropriate, and the fusible plug and burst disc should be qualified;

( 3 )The brake band and brake wheel contact tightly, and the braking is effective;

( 4 )The oil level in the reducer is appropriate, and there is no oil leakage;

( 5 )All rollers on the machine body are complete and rotate flexibly, the support hanging device is complete and reliable, and the support beam is straight;

( 6 )The load-bearing beam frame is straight, the load-bearing rollers are complete and rotate flexibly, and there is no degumming;

( 7 )The tail roller rotates flexibly, and the bearing lubrication is good;

( 8 )The front and rear overlaps of the belt conveyor meet the regulations;

( 9 )The conveyor belt joint is intact, and the clips are not broken or loose (the vulcanized hot-spliced joint has no delamination phenomenon), and the conveyor belt has no tears or scratches;

( 10 )The center of the conveyor belt is consistent with the center of the front and rear machines, there is no deviation, the tightness is appropriate, and the coal baffle is complete and intact;

( 11 )The power, signal, and communication cables are neatly hung, without squeezing or scratching; the tightness is appropriate, and the coal baffle is complete and intact;

( 12 )The railings and gratings on the top of the coal bin should be complete and firm;

( 13 )Anti-slip, coal stacking, deviation, coal leakage, full bin, overheating water spraying, smoke, and other protective devices and fire extinguishing and spray dust suppression facilities are complete and effective.

Article 7 Article When starting the machine, remove the power-off sign on the control switch, close the control switch, send a start-up signal and shout to let personnel leave the rotating parts of the belt conveyor. First, jog twice, then rotate for more than one week, and then check the following items:

1 Whether the sound of each part is normal; whether the conveyor belt has deviation, slippage, jumping or scratching; whether the tightness of the conveyor belt is appropriate and whether the indication of the tension gauge is correct;

2 Whether the control buttons, signals, and communication facilities are sensitive and reliable.

The above items must be checked and handled before formal operation can be carried out.

III. Operation and Precautions

Article 8 Article The driver must confirm the signal and start and stop the belt conveyor according to the specified signal. Before each start-up, a signal must be sent to notify personnel to leave the rotating parts of the belt conveyor, then jog twice, and then start the formal operation. When multiple belt conveyors that do not use centralized control are running together, they should be started one by one in the reverse coal flow direction.

Article 9 Article Do not forcibly start under overload. If a jam is found, start twice first (each time not exceeding 15 seconds), if it still cannot be started, the coal on the conveyor belt must be unloaded. After normal operation, the coal is loaded onto the conveyor belt and transported out.

Article 10 Article During operation, pay attention to the operation at all times; regularly check the temperature of the motor, reducer, and bearings; listen to the operation sounds of each part; clean the coal dust at the head and tail; maintain normal water spraying.

Article 11 Article If any of the following situations occur, the machine must be stopped, and the problem must be properly handled before continuing operation.

1 Conveyor belt deviation, tearing, or broken joint clips;

2 Conveyor belt slippage or jamming;

3 Electrical or mechanical component temperature exceeds the limit or abnormal operating sound;

4 Fusible melting of the hydraulic coupling or ejection of the working medium in the coupling;

5 Large pieces of coal or long materials on the conveyor belt;

6 When personal safety is endangered;

7 When the signal is unclear or the lower conveyor is stopped.

Article 12 Article When starting the jog and handling the conveyor belt deviation, it is strictly forbidden to touch the conveyor belt directly with hands or feet.

Article 13 When the conveyor belt is running, it is forbidden to clean the head and tail rollers and the surrounding coal powder. Do not pull the conveyor belt cleaner.

Article 14 When removing the oil filler plug, fusible plug, and burst disc of the fluid coupling, wear gloves, avoid the direction of oil spraying, gently loosen a few turns, stop for a while, wait for the air to escape before slowly unscrewing. Do not use unqualified fusible plugs, burst discs, or substitutes.

Article 15 When inspecting, troubleshooting, or performing other work on the belt conveyor, the conveyor's control switch must be locked and a sign indicating that " personnel are working, do not close the switch ” power outage sign must be hung. Except for troubleshooting, reverse operation is not allowed.

Article 16 When inspecting and repairing the head unloading roller part at the top of the coal bin, the top of the coal bin must be blocked.

Article 17 Except for the contact head of the control switch sticking, it is forbidden to directly cut off the motor using the control switch handle.

Article 18 Belt conveyor retraction storage:

1 Start the conveyor to transport the coal clean, move the control switch handle to the power-off position and lock it, hang the power-off sign, and prepare to start the belt storage device tightening winch;

2 Remove the intermediate frame, use a jack or winch to pull the load-bearing part and the tail end forward until it is connected to the remaining intermediate frame, and adjust the center of the tail end and the intermediate part to be in a straight line;

3 According to the signal from the tail end, start the belt storage device winch to wind the excess conveyor belt into the belt storage bin and tighten the conveyor belt;

4 After the conveyor belt is retracted, retract the jack piston rod, place the valve control handle in the cut-off position, and close and lock the belt storage device winch;

5 Remove the power-off sign, and according to the signal from the tail end, restart the belt conveyor according to the procedure.

Article 19 Conveyor belt removal:

1 Start the conveyor to transport the coal clean, move the control switch handle to the power-off position and lock it, and hang the power-off sign;

2 Loosen the belt storage device winch, cut off one end of the stored conveyor belt, cut the excess conveyor belt to the required length, and remove it;

3 Connect the two ends of the conveyor belt, and start the belt storage device winch to tighten the conveyor belt to the appropriate degree;

4 Remove the power-off sign and start the belt conveyor according to the procedure.

IV. Finishing work

Article 20 After the foreman issues the work completion command, completely remove the coal from the belt conveyor. After the upper conveyor stops, move the control switch handle to the power-off position and tighten the locking bolt.

Article 21 Close the shut-off valves for the spray and dust suppression water.

Article 22 Clean the coal dust from the motor, switch, fluid coupling, reducer, etc.

Article 23 On-site, give a detailed briefing to the shift driver on the operation of the belt conveyor for this shift, any faults that occurred, and any problems encountered. After ascending the well, fill out the belt conveyor work log for this shift as per regulations.
